It plugs into a standard duplex outlet and turns it into five AC sockets and four USB charging ports — three USB-A at 5V/2.4A each and one USB-C at 5V/3A. The sockets sit on three faces with 2.1 inches between them, wider than the usual 1.5, which is the difference between fitting three wall warts and fighting over one.
A grooved back lets it sit flush against the wall, and the center screw replaces the outlet's own cover screw so the whole thing is anchored. Pull a cable out and the extender stays put instead of walking off the wall — the failure mode that makes cheap splitters frustrating.
Behind the sockets is 1680 joules of surge protection with a lit indicator that confirms the circuit is still doing its job, inside a fireproof shell. ETL certified.

The anchoring screw is what makes this different from a splitter, and it needs an ordinary two-socket duplex outlet with more than an inch between the sockets. It will not secure to a GFCI outlet, and it is not designed for outlets with more than two sets of parallel sockets. Worth thirty seconds with a tape measure before it ships.
